We’re back on the blogging train with another beautiful wedding feature! Today, we’re featuring the November wedding of Haylee + Luke. It was a beautiful, rare warm day (in late November!!) and these two had such a fun day. Not only do they look like literal models, but they and their families were so wonderful to work with! Their photographers were so awesome and did such a wonderful job of capturing just how much fun was had on their special day! Huge thank you to The Hardcastles for sharing these images with us!
How Did you Meet?
“We met through our bible studies in freshman year of college! His leader was married to mine and they had a cookout with both groups! He actually ended up dating one of my friends, but they broke up, I wasn’t as good of friends with the girl anymore and we ended up dating lol!”
Tell me about the Proposal!
“It was in the fall, actually a year from the weekend we are getting married! We had planned to go to dinner while his parents were in town with them, so we dressed up and went over to their house to meet them and ride together. He ended up taking me to the back yard and thats when I knew something was up haha. There were lights hanging everywhere in between the trees and a path leading to a fire pit they have in their yard and thats where he asked me! He had called all of our family and friends and even some out of state friends to drive in, and they were all in the basement to surprise me after the proposal! It was so so fun :)”
Luke and Haylee’s vision for their wedding was a classically beautiful event with cozy winter vibes and a really fun dance floor. Haylee’s decor preferences were a mix of bohemian and classic beauty, she wanted lots of greenery and touches of gold accents with mainly a black and white color scheme. Their ceremony at the Oak Trees site was decorated with white florals and draping with lots of greenery for an elegant yet simplistic look – and their reception tables carried the same theme throughout, with a show-stopping head table and an amazing hanging greenery chandelier! Wildflowers, LLC really took their vision and made it a reality!
What factors led you to choose The Pick Inn, over other venues you visited?
“I LOVE the location and trees!!! And the aspect that its outside but you can still do the reception in the heated pavilion is so awesome! The getting ready area was also a HUGE factor– probably one of the best i have seen! There were some other venues that we liked, but the getting ready area was really small or not updated so wasn’t as appealing because I can’t wait to get ready with my bridesmaids and hang out before!”
Picking just a few photos from this wedding to feature was so hard – every aspect of this day was absolutely beautiful! Luke and Haylee were such an amazing couple and their vendor team made the day truly special for everyone involved! Be sure to check out their amazing list of vendors below!
