Micah + William: November 7, 2020

It’s been a while, folks! But – we’re here with another blog post! 2021 has been our busiest year yet – between the events business bouncing back from the craziness of last year, and expecting my first baby in August – It’s been a lot to say the least! But, I couldn’t let time slip by without sharing photos from this amazing wedding. Today, we’re featuring the November wedding of Micah + William. It was a beautiful, warm day (in November!!) and these two were such a joy to be around and work with. Their photographer Jordan knocked it out of the park with capturing their wedding day and all of the fall colors. Huge thank you to Jordan Hope Photography for sharing these images with us!

How Did you Meet?
“We met in a church group up at Tennessee Tech University, where we were both attending college.”

Tell me about the Proposal!
“William got my two best friends to reach out to me to hang out for the day. We had a long lunch and just caught up for a while when they asked if we could go to the park to take a picture then maybe get coffee. We then went to my favorite park and took a few pics then they asked William to take a few with me as well. We took a picture then he claimed he had to “adjust his sock”, me being my type A self said to him, “you don’t need to adjust your sock, no one can see them.” When I turned around and looked at him he was on one knee asking me to marry him! He told me all these beautiful and wonderful things about our relationship and why he wanted to marry me. I dropped down next to him and just started crying!! Once again, my type A self had to make sure he asked my dad’s permission as well as my mom and brothers. He confirmed that he asked everyone’s permission! He then said, “you still haven’t answered my question?” and I just started crying and said YES!! Then he said, “you haven’t even looked at the ring either”, then I looked and just started crying again. When we got back to my house he had organized a surprise party with all of our family and friend to celebrate our engagement!! He did amazing and absolutely blew me away!”

Micah + William’s vision for their wedding was an elegant, smooth running day. Their style leaned more towards rustic simplicity – lots of fall colors and plenty of greenery with slate blue and burgundy accents. This couple chose to host their ceremony under our outdoor pavilion, and used a beautiful wooden cross accented with a stunning fresh floral installation and some white draping. They also set up a hot cocoa bar and cornhole for their guests to enjoy while the ceremony space was being flipped for the reception!

Our team loved working with this amazing couple! Their wedding day was filled with sunshine, love, and lots of dancing! Be sure to check out their vendor team below who made their day super special!
