Kristie & Justin: November 4, 2017

This week we are reminiscing on the beautiful Sadler wedding back in November. Justin and Kristie met and started dating when they were only fifteen years old!! On their 8 year anniversary, Justin proposed to Kristie in the mountains while sightseeing in Gatlinburg. They were such a sweet couple to work with and I was so honored to be a part of their special day at The Pick Inn!

Kristie’s ideal wedding vision was romantic, relaxing, and organized. No kidding – organized! I love it! NO wonder we got along so well. 🙂 She wanted to combine the venue’s rustic outdoor feel with a classy romantic color scheme of burgundy, gold, and blush pink.

The ceremony was held at our hillside gazebo and although we had some uninvited guests (swarms of ladybugs) attend, it was absolutely gorgeous. Something that stood out to me was that their officiant stood away from them instead of behind them, so that they could cherish the moments together and the photos from their ceremony would be of just the bride and groom.

Another important item on Justin and Kristie’s wedding planning checklist was good food and an enjoyable time for their guests. With our amazing catering team at Wildberry and their DJ Ryan Bizarri – we definitely hit the nail on the head! Everyone was dancing into the night and there were definitely people going to the buffet for seconds – which is always a good sign!

It was such a pleasure working with Kristie, Justin, and their amazing families. Everyone came together to make sure they had a wonderful day and it was so much fun! Special thanks to Black Mountain for sharing these images for the blog. Check out all of their vendors below for more information!
