This week’s post is featuring the Wilson wedding from back in October. Meghan + Daniel had a gorgeous fall themed day and they win the award for guests that have traveled the farthest to The Pick Inn – from Australia! (Where the groom is from!)
Meghan and Dan were so excited for their wedding day to arrive. They met while living in New York City on the dating app OK Cupid – how 21st century of them – and dated 7 years before tying the knot back in October! Dan proposed to Meghan with a vintage ring while visiting a jewelry shop that they loved. Their vision for the wedding was a fun, stress free day. They wanted to make sure their family had a blast (and access to the bar – their words, not mine!) and they wanted their celebration to be personal to them. They achieved that by simple touches like favors, welcome bags for their guests, and a cake topper that included a silhouette of their cat!
Their color scheme for the day was fall themed, with a fall garland on our gazebo and fall wreaths on the reception tables. The bridesmaid bouquets had beautiful burgundy tones and the groom + groomsmen had greenery and a unique touch of blue thistle! The weather was perfect for a fall day and their guests enjoyed playing corn hole, strolling around the property, and singing and dancing the night away – seriously – the whole wedding was on the dance floor!
It was such a pleasure to work with Meg + Dan on their special day and their families made sure they had a night to remember – ending with a beautiful sparkler exit! Check out our vendors below who helped make their day so special – and a huge thanks to Abby Weeden Photography for sharing these wonderful photos!
