Emma & Josh: May 28, 2017

This week’s blog post holds a very dear place in my heart – it’s about some of my friends! Emma and Josh are such great people and it was an absolute honor for them to choose The Pick Inn for their wedding venue! We had such a fun time on their wedding day. It was full of laughter, (happy) tears, and popsicles! How can you beat that?!

Emma & Josh met in college at TTU after being introduced by a mutual friend. Emma graduated and accepted a job as a health coach, and Josh is an amazing craftsman/woodworker at GoodWood in Nashville. He even made the arbor & ceremony doors for Emma himself, out of beautiful cedar wood – talk about pinterest dreams coming true! Josh proposed to Emma in the summer of 2016 at sunset on the shores of Lake Michigan, around where Emma is from. From there, they began planning a wedding & a life as a family of 4 – with their fur babies Molly & Milo. 🙂

The wedding vision for the big day was elegance, romance, & for the reception to be fun for their guests. Emma wanted greenery, candles galore, and they both wanted a taco bar. How fun is that? The weather was beautiful and our team had a blast setting up for the big day. We enjoyed having Emma & Josh and all of their other amazing vendors – including their photographer Alison of Finding Eden Photography – check out her information below and feel free to show our other vendors some love!

This wedding was definitely one for the books and as the day-of coordinator, I got to get a drink from the bar and jump on the dance floor with my friends turned clients! It was such a blessing to work with these two and I can’t wait to see where their love story takes them next.
